• Lower Environmental Impact: Reduced environmental footprint which can be via production method, processing techniques, application, etc.
• Source: The feedstock or raw materials have sustainability credentials
• Ethical & Social Features: this can be through ethical partnerships local sourcing, social premium, etc.

Eligibility:

• Ingredient brings sustainability benefits
• Current applications in cosmetic / personal care products
• Launched within the last three years

Judging Criteria:

• Application: How it improves the sustainability profile of cosmetic or personal care products.
• Market Relevance: The ingredient meets the needs of customers & the market
• Innovation: Some innovation involved
• Impact: Makes a significant difference in terms of environmental, social, and / or ethical impact
